I have really enjoyed Monty's stay with us, I have been really excited waiting for this moment.

We have had a lovely weekend with him and here are some pictures of us having fun!

James P has Monty for the weekend

Here are some photos that we took of James' exciting weekend with Monty. I'm sure he'll tell you all about it and explain the photos. James said it was a shame Natalie wasn't on the photo with Monty but he has told her all about it over the phone. He was really proud to look after him and has been very well behaved all weekend. All 4 of us enjoyed taking Monty on our super day in Gorges de l'Aveyron today.As you can see, they had great fun playing with him on a park that we found after lunch. Enjoy the photos.

Kayla took Monty on holiday!

Here is an extract from Monty's diary:

I was so pleased to go with Kayla for the half term week, and Kayla was excited for me to come and stay!

On Saturday morning we woke up very early, 4AM. She wouldn't tell me where we were going, she said that it's a surprise  We took a taxi to Blagnac airport where we got on a plane, we arrived in Hamburg, Germany, where the sun was shining.

Kayla and I were very excited whilst we were there we did many things, we went to the Hamburg city park, the river beach and we even went into the forest looking for my long lost cousins.

Kayla and I had lots of fun together but I'm looking forward to going back to school to see all my class mates.

Monty watched me do my maths on the computer. He slept in my bed. He played with me and my sister with Bob the Builder and his trucks. we had lots of cuddles.

Monty spent a weekend with Justus

Diary……Justus and Monty…

First I played Playmobil and then Lego which Monty 

preferred. Like I do.

 I had a football tournament at Auzeville.

This is my team. Usually we play in red, but this time we had to wear green.

 We didn’t win, but came fourth.

 After football we went to the German flee-market  in Cornebarrieu, where my Mum, Pauline and Marie tried to sell our stuff. I put Monty on the table, but made him so expensive, that nobody would have bought him…and if yes the 1.054.215 Euros would have gone to the school because Monty belongs to the school…or Ms. Ash? I don’t know.

At bedtime Monty snuggled with my Teddies. I have twin Teddies, there is twice as much love in them.

Monty and Ayden

Monty had a fairly low key weekend with us last weekend. Ayden broke his arm on Friday so Friday night there was ice on the couch and Saturday Ayden went to the hospital. We decided not to bring Monty to the hospital so he didn’t get lost or sick. J Monty got to watch cartoons and movies with Ayden on the couch the rest of the weekend with the new cast. He also got to play Legos and Spinjas. It seemed like he really enjoyed Spinjas.

A weekend with Noémie

I was playing with Monty. We went to the river to feed the ducks with bread. 

We played with the swing. For Grandpa's birthday we ate at the restaurant. 

Monty visits Hastings with Tino

I was very happy to have Monty visit us this weekend because we were going to my uncle’s wedding in Hastings, England.
We got to the airport.  We got on the Easy Jet to Gatwick Airport, then we drove to the hotel.  It was very late.  We woke, we got up and had a very big breakfast with toast and coco pops.
We went shopping, we went to the DS shop and Monty lost his hole but luckily we found it at the desk with the lady.
Later, we went to the wedding.  Monty had a very good time.
He had a big dinner and even some wine. 
Then he went outside to see the sea.  He got scared by the loud, big, blue waves.  He was cold.  He went inside.  It was very loud, we found some little glass diamonds.  We took them to play with and he was very tired.
We said goodbye and went back to the hotel, it was very late.  Then we brushed our teeth and went to bed.

Pablo and Monty Visit Andorra and Bilbao

On the first day of holidays Monty and I went to Andorra. There were lots of snow in Andorra. We went skiing. Just me and my family. Monty could not find skis of his size. In our Hotel  there was a gym  and Monty exercised a bit. I exercised too. The next day we went to a restaurant called Bruxelles. I ate a pannini sandwich.

We spent a whole afternoon in Caldea. It is a huge spa. There were 4 jacuzis, 2 hot jacuzis, a big warm swimming pool, a roman cave with a cool pool and a hot pool. And a pool river outside.

After Andorra we spent 4 days in Bilbao, in the north of Spain. Monty is the first mole that has visited the Guggenheim museum! I think he loved it. I also took him to eat “pinchos” and “tapas” and to play golf. We slept in a hotel that used to be a palace.

Back in Toulouse, Monty met my grandparents who spent a week with us. I showed my grandma the Scottish dance that Mrs Grant taught me.

The last days Monty was sick so he stayed in his hole with his family.

It has been a fantastic holiday for Monty and for me.

Monty at Jacques’s house

On Thursday, after school, Monty came to my house. After meeting all of his friends at my house, he was tired. So he rested in my room all day long.

On Saturday we played hide and seek. Can you spot Monty in in each of the pictures?

On Sunday, Monty listened to the Harry Potter CD story. Later on Monty helped us with the gardening. We planted some radish and lettuce seeds.

Monty visits Ryan's house

I had a very fun weekend with Monty! He was so happy that we had such nice weather so we could play outside, which is something that moles really love to do! He woke up early on Saturday morning and after a breakfast of eggs and toast he wanted to rush outside. Monty tried a tiny sip of Daddy's coffee but didn't like it at all!

Monty enjoyed meeting Arfur the friendly horse. At first, he was a little bit afraid but I told him that Arfur would be his friend, especially if we brought him a carrot or apple as a present.

We played hide and go seek in the backyard and Monty was a very good hider. I think he was so good at it because he can stay so still for so long and he blends in with the trees and bushes with his green and black colours!

We all went out to have a picnic and meet up with some friends at a park. Monty got to meet my friends Alexia, Olivia, Cyrus, Callum, Caitlin, Axl and of course my brother Jesse who he already knew.  Monty sat right on the table so he could hear and see everyone! All my friends wanted to take a turn holding him. Monty felt very loved! 

Lukman and Monty

Yabedabeduuuuu...Last Friday Monty came back with me to spend the weekend with my family. On the way back Monty asks me.... “Errr  Lukman...can I trouble you something”  
“Yes Monty...tell me what do you want my dear?” I said with smiled. 
“I want to eat fruit Lukman...can you buy me some fruits?” Monty said with soft voice.

“Ne pas problem Monty... let’s go to the Carrefour” Dad.. Could you please take us to the Carrefour? Monty wants to buy some fruits.  

At the Carrefour I ask Monty to have a look on the fruit selection and Monty said he can’t see clearly because it’s too far....

So I brought him nearer to the fruit selection and now Monty can see very clear and he decided to take orange.

With Amelia

Me and Monty played in the snow and we made some music with my new guitar and we played with my little brother.

Monty’s weekend at Maria’s place

On Friday, Monty came to my house, and he was very hungry. 

So, Maria and Monty did a lot of crepes. Monty put butter on the pan. 

We mixed flour and milk in the bowl, with some vanilla sugar, and Monty stirred them very well.

He is a very good cook. When the crepes were ready, Monty put chocolate and strawberry marmalade, and he ate a whole crepe himself.

As on Saturday, there was Valentina’s birthday, Monty decided to go to Maxi Toys, and buy some presents to her.  So Maria saw a car and Monty rode it with her.


When we had finished, Monty placed the gifts into the back of the car.

Monty was very tired, and when early to sleep in Manu’s bed. Monty loves to sleep with the little light bear.

On Saturday, Monty felt too tired to go to the Valentina’s birthday party, and stayed at home.

When Maria and Manu arrived from Valentina’s birthday party, he wanted to read all together some books.

On Sunday, we went all together to the swimming pool. 

But, the water was too cold for him; he preferred to stay at the car.

Monty and Miguel

Last Friday Monty came to my house and he saw all my family. My mum needed something from the market and Monty and I decided to go with her.  

Monty loves vegetables and he got the best ones and put it in the scale and he put the stickers with the price in the bags. Then he smelted the cheese and he became crazy, “The French cheese is the yummiest one!” He said.
 




When we went out of the market, there was a motorcycle on the street and Monty wanted to get on it.  
“No Monty, it is really dangerous” I said. So we decided to get in our car. 

When we arrived at home, we cooked the vegetables that we have bought, and we mixed them with pieces of chicken. Monty was hungry and he ate some pieces of my plate. I don’t care because I like to share with him. 

At night I was sleeping and Monty woke me up. He wanted to scare me. He did it, but I forgave him and I invited Monty to sleep with me. We had sweet dreams.


In the morning it was Monty’s birthday. Gustavo and I put all our cuddly toys with Monty. We gave him a present and we sang “Happy birthday”. I’m notsure that it really was Monty’s birthday, but he loved it.

Saturday, we went to a Pirate ship for lunch. A pirate wanted to get Monty on the ship to eat him. But I saved Monty and then I made a lot of pirates friends. They dressed me up as a pirate, and my pet was Monty (all the famous pirates had a pet).

It was an excellent weekend with Monty with a lot of adventures. I really hope Monty comes home again soon.

At Home With Dominic

Monty went into the woods to see his friend, Bob the dragon. Monty and Bob both wanted roasted marshmallows. So Bob breathed fire and they held roasted marshmallows.

After Monty's adventures with Bob, he went to stay the night with me before coming back to school on Monday.

Monty’s weekend at home with Niamh

Monty came home with me (Niamh) for the weekend, he enjoyed himself very much.
On Friday my Mummy had been shopping and when Mummy was bringing in the shopping Monty jumped into her shopping basket with all of our food.

On Friday night he played with my brother Joshua’s keyboard and we sang songs together with my Mummy and Daddy after this Monty was so tired, so I put him to bed inside Barbie’s house in her bedroom.

On Saturday he had breakfast with us all and Monty enjoyed it so much he ate my Daddy’s croissant. Later that morning I went to a birthday party  in a play barn and Monty enjoyed playing in the ball pool and made some new friends.

On Sunday Monty came with me to Church and whilst I was there he met the Priest from Toulouse and also had a look at the Christmas Nativity Scene with the Three Kings who were visiting Jesus. 

I enjoyed having Monty to stay at my house for the weekend and I can’t wait until he visits again,
